Instead of writing a check, use your Patriots Bank Debit Card. The amount is
deducted directly from your business’s Patriots Bank checking account. Use
it anywhere MasterCard debit cards are accepted – at millions of locations
worldwide.
Can be used at ATMs, 24 hours a day and seven days a week
Withdraw cash or make deposits instead of waiting for a teller during regular
banking hours
No need to write a check or present ID at the checkout counter
Many merchants allow you to withdraw additional cash with your purchase,
saving a trip to the ATM
Can be used out of town or at locations where personal checks are not accepted
Safer than carrying checks or cash
Some Debit Card pointers: Be certain of your bank account balance so you don’t
spend more than your available funds. Guard your card and Personal Identification
Number (PIN) closely – never let anyone borrow them. Keep track of Debit
Card transactions in your check register, along with your written checks. And
remember that Debit Card transactions, like checks, are drawn against the money
you already have in your checking account.
